At Home With Cornish 2
Children learn about people by asking questions, so
Piw os ta? Who
are you?
(sounds like "pew ozz ta")
To say who you are, you say your name followed by "o
vy"
(vy sounds like "vee")
So, I'd say Jan o vy.
Once you know someone's name,
you can use it when you say "hello" to them.
LĂ´wena dhis, Jan. Hello
Jan
Ha Jan. Hi
Jan
When you know what something (or someone) is,
you can say whether you like it (or them) or not,
by using "Da ew genam …"
From

this?
Dehen rew ew. It's
ice cream.
Da ew genam dehen rew. I like
